Jean-Pierre Armengaud is just back from a tourn of 13 recitals and a few masterclasses in China
(Pékin, Shanghaï, Canton, Macao, Chengdu, Xian, Guangzou, Dalian, Jinan…), organized by the french-chinese Festival “Croisements”, the French may Festival of Hong Kong and the general delegation of the Alliances françaises. The programs “Mixed colors”of the recitals was composed of French music works inspired by China and orient (Ravel, Satie, Debussy…) and a new work of the composer Jean-Yves Bosseur, dedicated to the famous belles of Wu-Han.
For the second year the famous place of Normandie “Le Bois des Moutiers” organises 2 concerts with Jean-Pierre Armengaud and the Paul Klee Quartett of Venise on the 23 july 20h30 and the 24 july 15h.
The program is in correspondance with the artistic movement “The Modernism”, which is the general thema of the Festival “DIEP’ from Haute-Normandie : particulary the “Création du monde “of Darius Milhaud, the Quintett for piano and strings of Chostakovich, the first Quintett for piano of Fauré.
Jean-Pierre Armengaud will give Masterclasses and concerts for the new Festival “Eclats de notes”, in which he is also involved as the artistic director.
The Masterclasses will take place in the Domaine départemental de Chamarande and the concerts in the Opéra de Massy and in the new Auditorium of the Evry music conservatory (Essonne). More informations:
Jean-Pierre Armengaud will give the next 2 october in the Castle of Rivau (Vienne) a concert concerning the thema of “La Valse”
, with a few young musicians (Chopin, Tchaikowski, Kreisler, Ravel, Poulenc…). More informations:
Jean-Pierre Armengaud is recording for the Label Egea the Integrale of the Beethoven sonates for cello and piano with the Italian cellist Luca Paccagnella.
Jean-Pierre Armengaud who has recorded for the Label Arts Music the Integrale of the Piano work of Claude Debussy, is preparing several projects for the 150th birthday of the composer in 2012.
Jean-Pierre Armengaud is invited during april and may 2012 in the USA by the University of Illinois and for concerts.
